Hand cleaned and flushed

We do not blow gutters out and call it finished. Debris comes out by hand into buckets, so it is not sitting in your beds waiting to wash back in with the next rain. Then every downspout gets run with water until it drains clean at the bottom. If one does not clear, we find the clog and pull it out rather than leaving it for you to notice in a storm.

Why it matters more here

Winston-Salem has old, tall trees. The oaks, maples, poplars and pines over houses in Ardmore, Buena Vista, Reynolda and Sherwood Forest fill gutters faster than any newer neighborhood will. Full gutters push water behind the fascia, into the soffit and down the wall. That leads to rot, and repairing rot costs far more than a gutter cleaning.

What is included

All runs cleared, all downspouts flushed and verified open, and debris hauled off the property. We report anything we see up there: pulled hangers, split seams, bad pitch, a downspout emptying against the foundation.

Cleaning the black streaks off the outside of the gutters is separate work. We can quote it at the same visit if you want it done.

Schedule

Two visits a year for most of the city. Late spring after seed drop, and December once the oaks finally let go. Homes under heavy pine usually need three.

Time on site

One to two hours on a single story. Longer for two story homes or steep pitch.
